My Journey for the ‘Holy Grail of natural health products’

In 2001 I sailed across the Atlantic with Greg, my now husband and this was the beginning of my awareness of the chemicals and toxic horrors found in sunscreen, amongst other ‘skin poisons’ in an attempt to protect from the sun and keep my skin hydrated.

Since then I have been on a mission for many years to find ‘The Holy Grail of natural health products’. 

I have also been particularly fascinated by the 'blue zones', learning of their longevity secrets, from the Hunza tribes in Pakistan to the world's highest prevalence of proven centenarians in Okinawa, Japan.

Frankincense Sacra from Oman is addictive to mind body and soul!

Although there is no magic pill, my discovery of Frankincense sacra (the pure wild harvested essential oil from Oman) has totally captivated me. I put this on every day to lift and tone my skin.  I inhale it through a  diffuser and chew the resin to calm and bring clarity to my mind and I always have a bottle of pure oil in my bag for a divine uplift in my mood when I need it.  In fact many of you guys have claimed to be regular 'snorters' ( you know who you are :) and would agree it is quite literally addictive to mind, body and soul!

Not all Essential oils are created equal!

It's important to note that there are many grades of Frankincense and they don’t all offer the same healing, therapeutic and medicinal properties. Often well known organic skincare street brands will go for a 'lesser grade, non medicinal' Frankincense Sacra that offers the highest yield and is therefore less expensive but ultimately less effective.

Boswellia sacra 'medicinal' frankincense is wild harvested from Oman. Originally it was only kept for the sultan and forbidden to leave the country. This pure type of youth elixir oil is actually quite scarce and hugely valuable. This is due to being only harvested twice a year. (This also explains why we run out of stock regularly!)
